DRESS CODE
There is no dress code. Please come in whatever you feel comfortable in, but please refrain from wearing anything that could be offensive.

COURTYARD AND OLD BUILDINGS
We are an ancient inn – so please take care on all surfaces, some of which are stone and can be uneven or slippery.

PAYMENTS
We accept cash and all major European cards, including American Express in the pub and dining rooms. Payment is by card only for our Guest Rooms. We do not accept payment by cheque or traveller’s cheque.

CAR PARKING
We have a large car park at the rear of the Pub, which all guests are able to use. Please inform the manager on duty if any vehicles are to be left overnight by guests who are not staying with us. All vehicles and their contents are left solely at the owner’s risk and the Pub is not liable for any damage.  Please ensure that you park in a way that is respectful to other guests.

PHONE SIGNAL

The mobile phone signal is very weak at The Three Horseshoes and in Batcombe village.  Calls can be made at the property via WhatsApp or WIFI calling, if your device supports it.

DOGS
Dogs are allowed in the bar and dining areas of the Pub, all outside areas and for overnight stays in Rooms 1, 2 & 4.  Please note there is a cleaning fee of £30 per stay in our guest rooms and this facility is only bookable via our enquiries@thethreehorseshoesbatcombe.co.uk email address. We would like to politely ask that all dogs are kept under control by their owners and must remain with their owners at all times, and kept on a lead if necessary. This will be a huge help to the team and guests at The Three Horseshoes as it will prevent them from being trip hazards and protect those who suffer from allergies. Please contact us directly at enquiries@thethreehorseshoesbatcombe.co.uk should you have a guide dog and need any additional support with either dining or guest room reservations.

SMOKING
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside any of our buildings. If the smell of smoke is detected in your room upon departure, we may charge an extra fee for the additional cleaning required.

SECURITY
While there are alarms and CCTV on the premises, all guests are responsible for their own belongings and vehicles. If you are staying with us, we recommend that you keep your room locked when it is left unoccupied.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR & NOISE

We ask that all guests are mindful of one another when dining and staying as a guest at The Three Horseshoes. We must also be mindful of the houses around us to ensure we do not disturb our lovely village. If any of our guests are rude or dismissive to staff or other guests, we have the right to ask them to leave, although we sincerely hope this never happens.

All of our guest rooms are located above the kitchen, bar and/or dining areas and therefore some general noise may be heard during opening times. However, we have installed the maximum soundproofing in each of the rooms, where the building could accommodate it, to mitigate any intrusive noise disturbance for the comfort of our guests.

ALLERGIES & INTOLERANCES
Should you suffer from any food allergies or intolerances and you are dining with us please make your waiter aware of this as soon as possible. Our kitchen can accommodate nearly all requirements and we will always do our best to ensure you have something delicious to eat.
If you are staying with us and have a feather allergy please let us know on booking your room, or at least 24hrs before your stay, so that we can provide hypoallergenic bedding where possible.

GUEST ROOMS MINIMUM STAYS
We don’t have a minimum stay policy for guest room reservations at The Three Horseshoes.

CHECKING IN & OUT
Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am.  If you require a later check-out, please make a request as soon as you can and we will try to be as accommodating as possible.

BREAKFAST

A full Somerset Breakfast is included in our room rates.
Breakfast is served from 8.30am until 10.00am in the dining room (or on the terrace in summer). If you require breakfast any earlier, please let us know at the time of your booking or, at the latest, within 48 hours of your arrival.

GUEST ROOM RATES
Our room rates and full descriptions of each room can be found on the Rooms tab on our website and include breakfast. This rate is 100% payable in advance of your stay.

Please contact us directly about cancellations with as much notice as possible.
Guest room reservations are refundable up to 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made in the 7 days prior to your arrival date, and which we are unable to resell, are not refundable.

We have 2 interconnecting rooms (Rooms 3 & 4) suitable for families, so please ensure you select these rooms when booking. Children (below the age of 16) should not be left unaccompanied on the premises.

AFTER HOURS
There will be no staff members on site between approximately midnight to 8am.
If you require assistance during the night, you will find the emergency contact number in the guest booklet provided.

Your guest room keys should be returned to a member of staff at the end of your stay.  If you mistakenly taken one of the room keys following your departure please ensure it is returned to us within a week to avoid facing a £20 charge for a replacement.
